Description
Metformin, which is found in FORMIN SR 1000MG TABLET, is a member of the class of drugs known as anti-diabetic medications. When diet and exercise by themselves are insufficient for achieving optimal blood sugar control, it is used to treat Type II diabetes mellitus.
