Description
Torsemide tablets IP 20mg is a medication used to treat edema (swelling) caused by heart failure, kidney disease, or liver disease.
Direction of Use:
-Take torsemide tablets by mouth, usually once daily or as directed by your doctor.
Contraindication:
-If you are allergic to torsemide or any other diuretic, or if you have anuria (absence of urine production)
Doses and Administration:
-The dose of torsemide will be different for different patients.
-Follow your doctor’s orders or the directions on the label.
-The usual starting dose is 20mg once a day
Side Effects:
-headache,
-dizziness,
-lightheadedness,
-diarrhea,
-stomach upset,
-nausea,
-back pain,
-muscle pain,
-skin rash,
-changes in vision
