Doses and Administration: The usual adult dose of Ondansetron hydrochloride is 8mg given 30 minutes before the start of chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and then 8mg every 8 hours as needed for 1-2 days. The pediatric dose is based on the child’s weight and is usually given as directed by a healthcare provider.

Side Effects: Common side effects of Ondansetron hydrochloride include headache, constipation, and diarrhea. Less common side effects may include drowsiness, fatigue, and allergic reactions.
