Description

Lipta M Tab 850mg is a medication used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It contains the active ingredient Metformin and glimepiride, which belongs to the class of drugs called biguanides and sulfonylureas respectively, which work by decreasing the amount of sugar produced by the liver and also increase the sensitivity of insulin receptors in the body, thus decreasing the high blood sugar levels. It is usually taken orally, once a day with meals.
