Description

ACARBOSE is an oral medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by slowing down the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, which helps to control blood sugar levels.

Direction of Use:

ACARBOSE should be taken with meals, as directed by your healthcare provider. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.

Doses and Administration:

The recommended starting dose is 25mg three times a day, before meals. The dose may be increased by 25mg or 50mg every two to four weeks, as needed.
