Description

Bromhexine hydrochloride is a medication used to help clear mucus (phlegm) from the lungs in conditions such as bronchitis, emphysema, and other lung disorders.
Direction of Use: Terbutaline sulfate is usually taken by inhalation using an inhaler or nebulizer. It can also be taken orally as a tablet or syrup. Bromhexine hydrochloride is usually taken by mouth, as a tablet or syrup. It should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider.
Contraindication: Terbutaline sulfate should not be used in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to the drug or any of its components, or in those with severe heart disease. Doses and Administration: The usual adult dose of Terbutaline sulfate is 1-2 puffs every 4-6 hours as needed. The usual adult dose of Bromhexine hydrochloride is 8-16mg twice daily. The pediatric dose is based on the child’s weight and is usually given as directed by a healthcare provider.
Side Effects: Common side effects of Terbutaline sulfate include tremors, nervousness, and headache. Common side effects of Bromhexine hydrochloride include upset stomach, nausea and vomiting. Less common side effects may include allergic reactions and drowsiness.
