SKU: SHUB-DELISPRIN-75MG Category:

Description

Aspirin delayed release is a medication used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used to prevent blood clots, stroke, and heart attack in certain people. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Direction of Use: Aspirin delayed release is usually taken every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take aspirin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Contraindication: Aspirin delayed release is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or to any of the excipients. It should not be used in children and teenagers with viral illness, flu symptoms, chickenpox, or other viral infections.

Doses and Administration: The recommended adult dose is 325-650 mg every 4-6 hours as needed, not to exceed 4 grams/day.

Side Effects: The most common side effects of aspirin are stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, and diarrhea. These side effects usually go away within a few days. Other side effects of aspirin include ringing in the ears, confusion, and drowsiness.
