Description

METRONIDAZOLE AND DILOXANIDE FURATE is a combination medication used to treat amoebic dysentery and other intestinal amoebic infections caused by Entamoeba histolytica.

Direction of Use:

Take METRONIDAZOLE AND DILOXANIDE FURATE exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The medication can be taken orally.

Contraindication:

METRONIDAZOLE AND DILOXANIDE FURATE is contraindicated in patients who have a known hypersensitivity to the drug or any of its components. It should not be used in patients with a history of blood disorders or neurological disorders.

Doses and Administration:

The typical adult oral dosage is 500mg of Metronidazole and 500mg of Diloxanide Furate three times a day for 10 days or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of METRONIDAZOLE AND DILOXANIDE FURATE include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and metallic taste. If these side effects are severe or persistent, contact your healthcare provider.

Interactions:
