Contraindication:
Paracetamol should not be taken by people who have had an allergic reaction to it in the past. It should also not be taken with other medications that contain paracetamol.
Doses and Administration:
The recommended adult dose of paracetamol is 325-650 mg every 4-6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 grams per day. Children’s doses are based on weight and age.
Side Effects:
Paracetamol is generally well-tolerated, but some people may experience side effects such as stomach pain, nausea, and sweating.
Interactions:
Paracetamol may interact with certain medications, such as blood thinners and other pain relievers. Be sure to tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications you are taking before taking paracetamol.
Warnings and Precautions:
Paracetamol should be used with caution in people with liver or kidney disease. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as this can cause serious liver damage.
