NORMOGEL SUSPENSION

Description

Basic Information : Magnesium Hydroxide BP 500 mg + Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel BP 500 mg/10 ml are both ingredients in Normogel.

This medication, which is used to treat heartburn and an upset stomach, only neutralizes existing stomach acid.

Dosage & Administration : To treat the symptoms of too much stomach acid such as Stomach upset, Heartburn, and Acid indigestion

Alone or with other medications that lower acid production (including H2 blockers such as cimetidine/ranitidine and proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole)

Side Effects : Diarrhea & Constipation are the most likely side effects of Aluminum & Magnesium combination antacid.

Interactions : Please inform your doctor in case you are taking any of the following medicines:

Potassium phosphate

Sodium polystyrene sulfonate

Antacids

Warnings & Precautions : Hypersensitivity

In impaired renal functionPregnant and breast feeding must consult doctor

Storage : Keep this medicine out of reach of children
