Description
CEFIXIME 50MG, CLAVULANIC ACID 31.25MG is a combination antibiotic medication used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It contains the active ingredients cefixime, an cephalosporin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor.
Direction of Use:
CEFIXIME 50MG, CLAVULANIC ACID 31.25MG is usually taken orally, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. The usual adult dose is one tablet every 12 hours for 5-10 days.
Contraindication:
CEFIXIME 50MG, CLAVULANIC ACID 31.25MG is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to cephalosporins, penicillins, or clavulanic acid.
Doses and Administration:
The usual adult dose of Cefixime is 400 mg once daily or 200 mg twice daily. The usual adult dose of clavulanic acid is 500 mg twice daily.
